- What is there currently? Installing the same type of water heater is usually a lot easier and therefore making it more affordable.
- Do you prefer to pay gas or electricity? In the past, gas was always a bit more affordable but natural gas prices around the Bay Area have been on the rise. If you have Solar…electric may be the way to go.
- Do you have electricity in the area? If no, you will need it for your electric water heater.
- If you did not have an existing gas water heater before, you will need to do quite a bit of plumbing. We will need to create venting for the water heater and bring a gas line to it as well.
